Stay focused!
I got an email from a student today and it thrills me to read it. I've read it four times now. This is something worth sharing. The email is answering my question about how his trading is coming along.

Rob,
It has gone well. Im still having trouble with fear. I have seen good trades only to let them go without taking a trade, i dont know how to get over this.
I have decided to just do the ny rules untill i get my acc up high enough to where im not so nervous about making a trade. My thinking is if i have money in there above what i deposited that i will not be as scared to take a trade. I started out with a 3000 deposit ( small i know) and lost 900 but now im up to almost break even, doing the ny rules. I really like that plan.I thank my plan will work i just need to get more secure in it.
Sincerely,
G.I.
This is what you should do. If you are not profitable, you should start to focus. You should focus on one method and become an expert. And then you will succeed.

this is my idea: do the ny rules on your live account and then do any other trading just on a demo. do it like an experiment to see which one stays more consistent and ahead. then you don't have to be afraid to take other trades. sometimes you have to outsmart yourself.

Rob said it and I'll say it again: pick one method and timeframe, practice it regularly, and see what happens to your account.
