The Lottery

For those of you who don't know already...Rob and Dave did a seminar in North Carolina with Steve Nison.

Part of the seminar was about risk management where Rob and Dave did an experiment using lottery tickets and cash. Everyone was given a dollar and a lottery ticket and asked to throw at least one of them away. This video was of us putting everything together for the presentation. We will show a clip of the presentation later.

Interesting. The actual odds of winning the Powerball grand prize are 1 in 146,107,962

This is so small as to be incomprehensible...when Rob throws out a guess of 1 in 10,000,000 I think that he wants to make sure that we know the odds are so long that they are ridiculous, and of course the real odds are even more ridiculous. For the record though Rob, I'd take the dollar because I'd be worried that you are playing a trick on us and showing us last night's drawing where one person in the crowd will win...now THAT would be an experiment.
